Okay, I love looking at pictures of others peoples guns, that is often called "Gun Porn". Nothing better than a beautiful NIB looking carry gun. However sexy they may be, at the end of the day when your not looking for something pretty, just something reliable to get the job done, I want that old reliable.
As soon as I get my camera fixed, I will post mine. In the mean time can you make help me feel a little better about how mine looks? My 1911 is 12 years old, and never been to the shop and has so many rounds through it, I lost count at ten thousand and that was 5 about 5 years ago. She shows her wear, but still works well. I gave up carrying her due to the weight and a bad back, but she is still my first love.
Though I carried them daily, none of mine are really very beat up or worn!!
I carried this pre-loaded Champion for several years.
Then picked up this parkerized GI Champion and carried it for a couple of years.
But this is my pride and joy and I have carried it now for over 5 years...a Wilson Combat Professional.
Here is one I have been carrying more often. I got it for the LOML when she became a probation officer for off duty carry but she just carries here Glock everywhere.
This thing has developed styling that make farm implements blush.

Same 'ol', same ol'... after 35 years of steady use.
This one had only a hint of holster wear on either side of the barrel at the front near the muzzle and had no ring around the cylinder when I first got it. Blue holds up pretty well, all things considered.
It's amusing to read of folks over on the various revolver forums fretting about cylinder rings. The ejector rod is worn bright. Lots of empties have been ejected from its cylinder over the years.
No camera right now but I have noticed some holster wear on my G27. Years ago that would have bothered me but now it's just what the heck, this is what I bought it for!
