    Latest grip enhancement...(pics)

    The latest in my (hopefully long) line of projects is a friend's Kel Tec P-32.

    There will be a subsequent thread about this gun and a possible refinish job in a little while..

    I think that this stippling helps even more on these pocket pistols than a full size.

    Well keltecs are just b'ugly (butt-ugly) little guns, but the stippling helps... a little bit. Good job.

    How long did that take? What do you use, like a 35w soldering iron?

    I like the "brillo pad" (my word) stippling on yours better than the bigger texture reptile looking stipple pattern on others I have seen. Very nice. Do you use a smaller tip on your iron or what?

    Yes, I use a 40W iron with a tip I filed down to a really sharp point.

    I'd say there's at least 2500 stipples on the entire circumference of the grip.
    What we've got here is failure to communicate.

    I've been thinking of doing this on the backstrap of my pf9. Looks good.
