I've owned the FNP 40, but not the 45. Was very please with that firearm. It was acturate and reliable but it was not small enough to easily conceal. I eventually traded it.

I've got an FNP 45 in a Crossbreed Supertuck on right now. It's a tremendous pistol... very accurate, extremely reliable, and simple to break down and clean. The two deciding factors for me were the high capacity (my FNP45 USG came with 3x15 round mags) and the ambidextrous controls. I shoot with both right and left hands, so that was a pretty big deal for me.
I liked it so much, I bought an FNX40. A little smaller and easier to conceal, and cheaper to feed so I can practice more.

I have the FNP-40 and love it, great gun. Although I don't CC it, little much for me but others don't any problem doing so. As far as quality goes I rate it very high.

I have an FNP45 and love it. I think FNH products are terrific (I own the five seven, the FNP45 and I'm about to purchase the FNX40). I work in a gun shop and get to play with all of them daily and shoot them on occasion, and can say the FNP45 is probably my favorite 45 to shoot (not necessarily carry, but that's a different thread entirely).
I do carry the FNP45 from time to time in a crossbreed holster, and it's very concealable for me. Really accurate, light recoil given the caliber, great capacity. One of my favorites I own.
I carry an FNP 45 is a Pure Kustom holster. Great combination.

Here's some results from the last range day. You can see the similarity between these two pistols:
He's the smaller, younger of the two. Snappy, but not quite the brute of his brother. But cheaper to feed and easier to carry.
Big brother. Deeper voice, stronger hit, but amazingly easy to handle.
These were slow carefully aimed shots at 25 yards with 14 round mags in each gun. (The 45 came with 3 15 rnd mags, but the mag base sticks out a bit and makes it harder to cc)
