I have the OEM night sights on my G19, and Tru-Glo TFOs on my G26 (green/yellow). Love the TFOs!

All of my Glocks sport night sights. That being said, yes.......I always change the front sight on my Glocks. The OEM offering should be cheaper, and on par with any of the aftermarket sight suppliers for endurance. I've had Trijicons, Meprolights, and the Glock branded night sights on mine/ours. Personally, I think the profile is better than the stock plastic sights no matter what. That's just me though, and maybe I shouldn't have said as much as I have.

I recently installed a set of XS 24/7 Big Dot Express Sights on my Glock 27. I really like the big dot front. I can get on target at defensive ranges easier then with the standard Glock front sight. I'm really not sold on the shallow V narrow post rear site. My "old eyes" have problems picking up the narrow post.

I've never considered myself a precision target shooter. With the exception of my USPSA game gun, all of my pistols are purchased and used as defensive weapons and my practice is usually under 10 yards

That being said, I'm thinking about a plain black deeper V cut rear sight or possibly a 3 dot setup utilizing the XS Big Dot front sight.

I have XS Big Dots on both my G19 and G26. For defensive training and quick sight picture acquisition, I don't think you can beat them. Check out the below sites..JMO

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I have Glock Trijicon night sights. They're marginal at picking up a flash sight picture. I'm definitely switching. Torn between Tru Glos, XS 24/7s. Dawson makes some real nice sights, but the fiber optic seems like a big boost in getting on target fast. Decisions decisions...

My G19 has the XS Big Dot on it. Nice sight and easy to pick up.

When I carried a Glock 21, I put night sights on it.

I put Meprolights on both my Glock 19 and my Glock 17. IMHO, the stock Glock sights are horrible.

I like the stock sights. Simple, rugged, easy to align, and easy for me to see.

I'm leaning towards the big dot...here's a question: Is it worth it, if I am getting a crimson trace anyways?
