Do I trade my Glock20 for a Colt defender?? I don't shoot the glock very well and I love the 1911 platform wish I could have both but don't have the cash currently as I have a rifle ordered for the middle kids B-day end of this month. What to do what to do??

Your Glock 20 retails for $539 if I recall correctly. That Defender retails for $899, if I recall correctly. If that is a straight up trade, you could make some money on the Defender, if you don't want to keep it.

You say that you do not shoot the Glock very well, that you love the 1911 platform, and that you cannot afford to have both of them; I do not think it really is a difficult choice make. The G20 might be a great gun, but if it does not work very well for you then it does not matter how great it is. You can always get a Glock again when you can afford it and if you consider that it really is your cup of tea.

it is a straight up trade. I like glocks too but should probably by a 9mm glock for my next one so I can shoot hundreds of rounds to get comfortable with it. Can't afford to do that with the 10mm. 1911's are like second nature to shoot. I just love colts and this deal came up so now I gotta decide if I wanna part with the glock.
