    Kahr K9

Several years ago I sold my Kahr K9 in a fit of bad judgement. It was the only 9mm single-stack pistol I ever carried that felt better than my S&W 3953. Well, this week I was able to trade back into one. Specifically, an Elite 2003 model. I could not be more pleased. The only place this one will go is into some leather and on to my hip. What once was lost, now is found....

I too had an early K9 that I let get away. I found one not long ago for a pretty good price and jumped to buy. It was better than I remembered.

That's nice looking leather and unusual grips. Enjoy that "Elite".

Best Kahr made IMHO! I think the K series are some of the most underrated carry pistols out there. I never felt half as good about the P pistols.

They are made my Wicked Grips and the inlay is the Chinese character(s) for "Dragon".

Kahr makes an excellent weapon. Diligent practice and you will be surgical.

I originally felt the same way and had intended to swap them out with the stock rubber grips. But once I saw them in person and felt them in hand...they sort of grew on me.

I've tried both smooth and checkered grips... it's a tough call, both are excellent.
I've also tried both triggers, and I prefer the Elite trigger to the longer standard K9 trigger.

Really nice looking pistol. I believe that the "Elite trigger" is no longer an option, but standard on all Kahr pistols (unless otherwise requested). I too would prefer the feel of steel, but ended up "settling" for the CW9. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a "K" series, given the availability of fun money.

I frequently use the smaller version of your gun, the MK9, in a kydex appendix carry holster. It really conceals well.
