Off the charts price for a new S&W Bodyguard 380, had to do it at this price

I usually wait at least 6 months to a year after a new firearms hits the streets to buy one so the "bugs" can get worked out but since I really do not need another BUG anyway and already have a S&W 642, Ruger LCP and Kahr PM9 I now use as BUGS, I guess I purchased the S&W Bodyguard cause I just wanted it, and this price is too good to pass up. Express Police Supply has the handgun for $389.99 for civilians and $339.99 for "First Responders" (past or present) and I got free shipping for being a S&W forum member! So I just orderd the gun for $339.99 OTD and my FFL's transfer fee is $15 so I will pay a total of $355 for the new BUG.......thats hard top beat.

here's the link of anyone interested. I don't think you will find one cheaper.

    P. I like the S&W Bodyguard and can easily see one being an option in my stash of BUGs too; and for the price your paid, that's even better. Congrats on the new addition, nice catch IMO.
If it's +p rated and can run the BB or high pressure loads, that combined with the laser makes it a awesome carry option IMO. Congrats again!

I'd love to see a side by side with your Kahr PM9. On paper, they look virtually identical except for the width.

That's a steal on a brand-new pistol! I paid $289 for my LCP, plus about $160 for the CT laser.

Let us know how it works - I'm very leery of buying any new firearm the first year it comes out.

I like that it locks open when empty (it does, right?) and that it has real sights. I don't like the thumb safety, though - just my personal preference. I also prefer the CT method of laser activation - just grip the gun normally. Seems the laser on this pistol requires a separate step to activate?

You know - the whole PM9 vs .380 thing...while the PM9 might be as small as some of the .380 pistols, it is significantly heavier. When I pocket carried a PM9, I found myself putting it in the safe when I got home. With the lighter LCP, I keep in on me all day...from clothes-on in the morning to lights-out at night. YMMV.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

    Nice!

I am keenly interested in this little gem myself, for a pocket carry pistol. I had hoped there would be more of them out there by now.
