    Cool I know I should't do it but I know I will..........

    My department went to the G-21 two years ago from the G-19 for uniform patrol. They gave us the opportunity to buy our old duty weapons. I already had a personal owned G-19....... I bought another. Well last week they decided to replace the investigators and command staff G-26's with the G-36 to keep all personnel in a .45 format. They are offering the G-26 to the troops. I don't have a G-26. I have more Glocks than I can carry at one time now. I really shouldn't buy the 26...... but I know I will. As my wife says so often.... "Honey it was on sale". Well honey, it was on sale !

    We have a one week window in which to buy the weapon then they go to the distributor who is selling us the G-36's. Let's just say that the price is one that anyone of you guys would have to take advantage of, somewhere around half of retail. These guns are four years old with minimal use except for qualifying. We had the same deal with the G-19. One week window to decide. The distributor is the actual seller of the guns not the agency.

    My wife and I are in a good position now as all our children are grown, educated and out of the house. We are close to retirement and allow each other to treat themselves to some of the finer things in life. My wife has a Florida CWP and carries either the G-19 or a S&W 638 so we are kindred spirits in that area.

    Buy it!!!! And let her carry it for a few days....then she'll understand. Or at least, that's what happened with my wife. Of course, now I have to listen to her tell me, "that 22 is so heavy, I don't know why you didn't buy a 26 sooner!>>!?!?"

    Will you ever have the chance to buy it at this price again? You may not need it, may not even really want it right now, but sooner or later, it will come in handy. And then, you can always sell it later.
