No extra carry mag for the PM9..?

If you are equally proficient with either weapon and both offer consistent reliability, I would go with the PM9.
If weight becomes an issue with the PM9, carrying the Smith 380 would be no-brainer.

PM9, because I carry one in right front pocket. So firepower of the 9mm for me, even though I do have a LCP that I carry from time to time. If you want 380 I believe the FMJFN is best for SD.

The weight of the PM9 with extra mag is negligible to begin with plus you are giving up fight stopping ability form the 380 to the 9mm. PM9 al day and twice on Sunday.

IMO you scenario does not make sense. If you have an extra mag for the S&W then you shall have an extra mag for the PM9 too; the weight difference should be negligible.

You should be able to handle a spare mag with 7 rounds of 9mm without knowing. Even without a spare mag, I'd go PM9 - better gun/better round.

Of your choices, the Kahr...certainly more proven over time.
Neither would be my pocket carry choice.OMO

It is interesting to see that more people would choose more firepower than ammo amount. God Bless

Yesterday here in Oklahoma it was over 100 F. When the wife and I went out to supper last night I wore kahaki shorts and an untucked Polo shirt with a light cotton undershirt. Just for the record I carried a S.A. full size steel 1911 in a Don Hume IWB and an extra magazine on a Don Hume 1.5" double thickness gun/dress belt. I just do not see the need for a healthy adult to carry a mouse gun. I say carry a service size, large caliber sidearm and leave the pocket guns to those who truly cannot carrry anything more.

I suspect most people voting have never seen a S&W Bodyguard, and voted simply on the basis of 9mm over .380.
Anyone who thinks a Kahr PM-9 (great gun) is a pocket gun either has really big pockets or has never tried to put one in their pocket.
Add summer heat to the equation and I'll vote smaller every time.

I agree with this guy (though I wouldn't be wearing the shorts). Wouldn't go for the front pocket carry, unless it's the ONLY way possible, which it really isn't, for most. If it is a must, then I hope a pocket carry holster will be used. Otherwise, put the PM9 in an IWB hoslter.
