I own and sometimes carry a semi auto I just prefer revolvers. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's the feel and look, or all of the above, just my preference though. Some guys are obsessed with Glocks some hate them just an opinion.
I do a lot of camping and hiking and I trust a dirty revolver much more than a dirty semi, but the conditions everyone puts themselves and there firearm in everyday very so what's right for one isn't right for another.

I really like my 327 NG but carry it OBW; I have no experience with Taurus but the few I have handled recently seems to be of good quality, triggers were a little rough though.
