How is/was your experience with NAA Guardian .380

please list your pros and cons!
Specs are perfect * Like the weight being 6-7+ oz heavier than other popular small .380z* i don't want the wt 10-12oz like ruger & taurus * $100+ less than Sigs p238 & p232 is too long.
    What the trig action like?
    Does it have safety?
    S&W's new bodyguards too lite

I owned a NAA Guardian for several years. The trigger pull is 10lbs, so it's not bad. It definitely wasn't my favorite trigger on the guns I've owned. The Guardian is DAO with no external safeties. There is a 380S version with a locking mechanism.

If you want a heavier .380, the NAA is definitely it. It's 18.72 ozs. unloaded. The weight is helpful in recoil reduction when you shoot it, but IMO, it's not comfortable to carry. I used to pocket carry it, but I never was comfortable with it because it was so heavy. It moved around too much when I walked. At the time, it was the only really small .380ACP that I could find. The NAA Guardian fed all FMJ really well, but I could never get it to feed JHP reliably. I ended up selling it because I just wasn't comfortable with it. I actually downsized to a Seecamp .32ACP because of that. I now own a Ruger LCP and a Kahr P380.

IMO, if you're going to go with a gun the size and weight of the Guardian .380, I would choose the Kahr PM9 instead. It's lighter, the same thickness and not much larger. It's also 9mm.

Just wanted to add....it's also rated for +p ammo and the trigger is like butter.

I loved mine sold it to a friend to buy a Sig 228 which I also love. You can buy CT grips for them or send them to NAA for a guttersnipe or regular nightsights. They are really nice guns. I will probably buy another some day.

The WEAK point is the trigger draw bar spring. It is half the thickness of a paper clip and WILL break. I went trough 2 then sold the pistol.
