haha it's all good, I like your sense of humor as I am one who does not take himself too seriously either. You need to get sirlingping going, he is always good for some PPS love! LOL

I notice that this whole forum goes in "waves". We talk about one kind of belt or one kind of holster or one type of gun for awhile almost nonstop then moveto something else for a while. Standby the 1911s will come back around chawk. LOL

I have to say that I interested in picking up a full size 9mm and the grip on the new gen 4 feels pretty dang nice. I am moving back to Arkansas next week and I have some friends that are heavy into IDPA and I think I am going to get into it. Any of you Glock guys got any advice for a Glock rookie?

Be patient, learn the trigger and enjoy.

They are probably the easiest to field strip of any semi-auto pistol I've ever had.
+1 on KPW's comment about learning the trigger

I'm hearing about bugs in the gen4. Go with a gen3, or wait for the 17sf

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Maybe it's the economy. In hard times people buy Glocks, new lipsticks, and increase booze consumption.

Where Can You Get This Glack-gun?
I was wondering where you can get these guns, (is it Glock or Glack?). Are they made here or abroad? Never heard of them I don't think; this their first year? (and they're steel right?)
