    This little piggy...

...is not afraid of the big bad wolf. No, she's not the prettiest 1911 in town but Warthawgs aren't known for their looks.

My everyday carry is a Para Ordnance Warthawg, freshly parkerized slide, new recoil spring, Hogue grips, XS Big Dot combat night sights, and Wolff magazine springs. With 10 + 1 185gr +P Golden Saber .45 caliber hollowpoints and 13 more of the same in the backup magazine, I'm not feeling undergunned in the least. :)

This pudgy little pig disappears in a Crossbreed Supertuck, which is so comfortable I hardly know it is there all day long. As I mentioned before, she's not all that pretty but she's a keeper!

May your Para Warthawg 'stay' the wolves of rural Alaska.

I called Para twice. The first time I was told that they did not sell parts and I would have to order through Brownells. The second time they put me through to the Service Dept and I explained that I had already checked with Brownells 8 weeks earlier and they were still out of stock with no eta on re-stocking. I mentioned that I also needed grip screw that could not be found for sale. The service rep took my name and address, asked me if I wanted stainless or blued screws, and then mailed me both the recoil spring assembly and the grip screws for no charge.

I've been considering a Warthog. Have a P12 and thinking I might want a smaller EDC.

Thanks normAK, I had one on back order from Brownells for 10-12 weeks and got
a letter from them that said they were having problems getting the assy from
the manufactures. I will call Para and try that route. The Warthog would be a
nice pistol if parts were not so hard to get.

Very nice. I have been looking at 1911's and when I get some money saved up, I was thinking about a Para GI Expert.
