    good deal or too good?

I found a used colt combat commander online for $595. Its got a few minor scratches but that really doesn't bother me as I want a using gun not a show piece.
The seller has 800+ sells through the site and 100% positive feedback.

The price is a little more than I had planned to spend BUT, I was looking at RIA guns and this is a Colt.

    what do you guys think?

Great looking 1911, I think that you're going to be a 'happy camper' with that pistola.

That's not a bad gun for that price. I'd work it up a little bit with some front strap checkering, an extended safety lever, and some leather for it to ride in. Still, as it is...it isn't bad looking at all.

If it is a Series 70 that is a very good price. It's already been tricked to some extent so buy some ammo and shoot the heck out of it before you decide to do any other mods. It may surprise you just like it is.
