    I concur.

They have been in business a long time, and make excellent weapons. Look at my Avatar. That is an FN made weapon, but stamped Browning. From what I can see their focus is more on the military and LEO side of things, and they don't seem to put much emphasis on the civilian market. That is changing with the FNP/FNX line it seems.

    Fn p 9

I traded for a FN P 9 and figured I would turn it--but I really like to shoot it. It came with case, 3 mags and is a well built firearm. I have plenty of pistols, but this one is a good shooter and fits my hand and style of handgunning, so it is staying at home and something else is for sale.

Mine is the FNP-40 CAL. It came with three 14 rd. mags, extra backstrap for grip options and of course hard case. I truly love this gun! A keeper IMO. It is a bit bulky, but if I wanted to cc it I could. I just have other options for my EDC.

Here’s a Browning Pro-9, which is said to be the civilian version of the FNP9 that FNH manufactured for Browning a few years back and has since been discontinued.

I love my FNP-9. Bought it for the wife a few years back, turns out she doesn't like DA/SA on a handgun...I was going to sell it but she is such a sweet shooter I just decided to keep it.

I had intended to sell off any pistol that did not use an S&W magazine, and did get rid of most. I cannot bring myself to part with my FNP9; it fits my hand like no other pistol I have held except a SIG (the Sig cost twice as much).
