Everybody is making a mini 380...why not something along the lines of this.

Now I know we have the Kahr PM9...and this particular gun is not popular for a reason but The idea is a great one. If we Ruger and Smith make pocket .380s why not pocket nine?

Take a look at Walther, the pps is exactly that, a pocket 9mm, and I have yet to hear a complaint about it here. Still waiting for my chance to shoot one, but will soon (I hope)

I don't consider the PM9 or the PPS pocket pistols. The Ruger LCP, yes. The kel-tek P3AT and P32, yes. The Kahr P380, yes.
I do not wear baggy jeans or cargo pants so it takes a really small gun to fit in my pant pocket.

I have hopes for Ruger introducing competition for Kahr, and the PM9 in particular. They took on Glock. They took on Kel tec. They got into the AR business. They took on the lightweight S&W revolvers. The small single stack 9mm business is the next obvious step.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

Smith and Wesson stated a service life of so many rounds. I can't remember the number, but it was perceived to be too low to justify purchasing. The gun buying public rejected it.
