Glock 19 Gen 4 second trip to range

Just a short report on the new 19 gen4, I shot another 100 rounds today making total round count 200. No problems flawless operation, I am really liking the stippling and smaller grip.

I traded my 23 for the 19, I really don't like the .40 S&W to shoot, I did not shoot the 23 to often because of cost of ammo and the sharp muzzle flip. I am already shooting tighter groups with the 19, so for me I might be a little recoil sensitive. I have had many magnum calibers that I shot alright, just not sure why the 19 shoots better for me.

Very happy, I can see the 19 becoming my EDC in colder weather.

Glad to hear it works for you. I too have a 26 and 19. I pretty much skipped the whole 40 and 45 thing and if the 9mm is not enough, I go straight to the 10mm. I always thought the 40 was an answer in search of a question. And as far as the 45 goes, I like it, but the 10 is so much more.

I bought the Glock 19 Gen 4 last Friday and was able to shoot it at my Sunday IDPA match. I did not have a holster or mag pouch and had to borrow one from a fellow shooter. I shot 67 rounds in all and did not have one hiccup. This is my first Glock and I really liked shooting it. This was probably my best match to date. I'm looking forward to shooting the next match. I ordered a blackhawk serpa holster and a fobus mag carrier for the next match. Next year when I have more cash available I'll get a Crossbreed holster for it. I have a crossbreed for all of my pistols thus far. +1 for the Glock 19 thus far.
