It hasn't for me, and it's been a hell of a long time since the first one....LOL

Are you kidding me? Of course it doesn't!
I'm Jonesin' for about 6 different guns right now, and I've bought 3 in the last 18 months.

I can only justify two more purchases (and that's a stretch). However at that point, it becomes pretty clear that I'm a gun-collector. Once I'm a 'collector', I no longer have to justify each purchase, right?
Lord help me when I retire and have spare time on my hands. Maybe I'll build a shooting theme park?

I just picked up three new ones a couple weeks ago (Glock 17 Gen 4, M&P9, 2nd Talon II bobtail - which I'm already getting rid of) and a Nighthawk PDP just came in that I ordered a while back. I'm now obsessing on sights for the polymer guns.. Bought TruGlo TFO and tritiums so I could use the TFO front with the tritium rear since their sizes are strange and I can't run a Warren rear... ordered a Warren Tactical 2-dot for the M&P and will probably order them for the 17 as well. It only gets worse. I have 3 or 4 guns off the top of my head that I'll buy this month or next. I have a number I'm selling as well since there's a few I really shoot...almost daily...and the others just sit there. It will never end. just when you think you've settled on a particular gun, then it gets a little monotonous and you want to mix it up....then it starts all over again.
Hang in there!
I've probably been through 30 guns or so in just the past few years. Have a couple dozen now and that changes at least monthly.
** Have you bought yourself any AR's or precision rifles yet?? Just wait if you think it's bad now! Optics, quadrails, grips, buttstocks, mags, foregrips, rail covers, BUIS, SBR's, additional uppers.... actions for the bolt guns, bi pods, SCOPES (I have a few more expensive that my Nighthawks), etc.
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe
It never stops. You are now a part of a brother and sisterhood of gun lovers whose sole addiction causes them to always be thinking of their next gun. Then when you finally feels you have enough, a beauty comes along and strikes your fancy and you just gotta have it too. I had to buy a second NRA leatherbound gun registry book because of my addiction.
Buwahahahaha, welcome to the dark side.
I call it a passion. This sounds so much better than mid life crisis, obsession, itch, addiction.....or just plain weird.
It does for me every ten years or so, lol...right about now. I am wanting a new bow... its down to a Hoyt Maxxis or a Mathews Z7. But then it will be right back to the guns.

My wife just gave me the OK for an AK style that I want, but I told her NO! I still need a safe first, crazy cuz I really want to buy....no guns purchased this year, only night sights and lots of ammo.

The first step in the road to recovery is admitting to your addiction. Hello I'm a gun addict.
