Picked up new Ed Brown SFC today.

Well, I went and picked up my Special Forces Carry today, and I love it. The Gen 3 finish is outstanding, slide to frame fit is perfect, the trigger is crisp with minimal creep or take up. The pistol is by far the nicest 1911 I have ever had or felt, seems like it melts in my hands, the slim grips are great. I love the chainlink checkering, the 10-8 sites and XS front sight provide easy pickup of the target. This is one of my dream guns, words can't describe how pleased I am with this pistol. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but will tomorrow evening and will post more pics then. I hope it shoots as good as it looks and feels.

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.

If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics stink.

Very nice! The fit and finish on my Executive Carry was flawless... Which XS sight are you running on the front, large or standard? 10-8 makes some great stuff. I run Heinie Straight 8's on a few of my 1911's but have been looking into the 10-8 for some other guns. I ordered a few of their basepads for my M&P and they're very nice, I imagine the sights are really great.

Enjoy the gun and shoot the heck out of it every chance you get.
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~Paul Howe

Thanks guys, I really think I will like it. As soon as I put a few hundred rounds down the pipe it will be my new EDC. The XS site is the standard, but does appear a little larger than some of my others.
