Shot the Ed Brown today, range report and pics

Well the wife and I went out tonight and shot the new SFC, the wife shot her M&P 9c. I put 250 rounds down the pipe and did not have one malfunction, which I am very happy with. I shot all 230 gr. ammo except for abot 10 rounds of 185 gr. H.P.'s. I shot 150 rounds of ball ammo and the rest was various H.P. ammo Golden Saber, Winchester Ranger and Winchester PDX-1. I used the EB factory mag, along with Wilson 47D's, and Chip McCormick 7 and 8 rounders. The pistol fed everything with every mag and was flawless. I shot a few rapid fire, double taps and slower singles, I ran all mags to slide lock and as I said the pistol was flawless. Overall I am extremely pleased, I really like the way the pistol feels and I love the trigger. On the down side I was not all that pleased with the groups at 15 yds., I sure am not the best shot in the world, but I usually do shoot tighter groups than I did tonight, and the wife even noticed (which of coarse she had to mention)LOL, I am hoping the more rounds I shoot, get used to the sights a little more, the better myself and the pistol will shoot. I let the wife run a mag down the pipe and I must say from about 7 yds., she did quite well. (And she had to mention that also LOL...) To sum it all up overall I am extremely happy, I will put another 100 rounds through it tomorrow of my carry ammo and it will be my new EDC. Here are some pics.

The first pic is my ugly mug, the second pic is the wife's target at 7 yds, and the last two pic's a couple of my targets at 15 yds.

Yes I see you can't hit the broad side of a barn with it. . . you just might as well ship on out to me. All my guns shoot the same way so it will fit right in!!!

    Thumbs up

That is an awesome rig you have there, and yes - I am jealous (well, not of your shooting, but hey - we all have 'off' days ;-).

It will come to you. Different grip, different trigger, etc.

Don't feel bad. Those look like my typical G30 tagets. My 4566 is even worse! Haven't figured out the reasons yet.

I put another 100 rounds through it last, did much better. I think I am going to like it.

I would really like an EB, or Wilson. I had a new holster made, and even though my EDC right now is a Kimber Ultra (3"), I had the holster made for an EB 4 1/4"
