    And ANOTHER Glock- New G36

Recently bought a Sig P220 Equinox Carry. The most beautiful handgun I have EVER owned. Shot right on the money, loved how it disassembled BUT- Never has my hand hurt so much from firing a .45. I think because the slide is so high up, but an expert I'm not.
So I sold the Sig and bought a Glock G36. Despite the light weight recoil is more than manageable. Like every Glock I have had, and there have been quite a few, it shot like a dream- right out of the box. The holes around the head centered about 3" above POA and constitute about 30 rds of Fed American Eagle 230gr from 15 yds. POA on the torso is about 25 rds of 185, 230, ball, HP asstd brands @ 7 yds. Was sighting on the X. The left torso is 10 rds of 185 plus P Hyrda-Shok (my carry ammo until more HST comes in) @ 7 yds. Put about another 75 rds downrange. The Glock did not stutter ONCE. It ate everything I put through it.
Another reason there are so many Glock threads. They ain't pretty, but they sure work well- IMHO.

I have XS Big Dots and a Comp Tac Gladiator and Infidel on the way. It is going to Cold Bore Custom for a grip reduction tomorrow (I have WAY small hands for such a manly man).

The Glock 36 is a great gun. I had two of them; both have been flawless. One I kept for my own carry, and the other I gave one to my son. and it is now his carry.

    Congrats on a great purchase!

While I enjoy shooting my G30, sometimes I wish I'd got the G36 instead. Never had an issue with mine. Can't say I "love" it, all poly guns feel like holding a plastic waterpistol to me. But the reliability can't be argued!

The 36 is the best Glock (and the best auto) I've ever used. Nice shootin', cop 1!

Thanks all, I tried a G30 but too darn heavy and thick for my EDC. I will post more pics when I get it back from Cold Bore Customs next week.

I had a G36 and I liked it very much but I had to sell it.I now have a G29SF and I like it even more.I should have a Glock 30 by next week and then I am going to save for another G36.The 36 is just so easy to carry.

About how much do you think i "should" shell-out for one of those babies? AND does it have that rtf;rough textured frame, like gen4?and multi backstrap system?

Mine was $468 out the door. Not like Gen 4 and no multi backstrap. But for $130 I will have it back next week with a reduced grip size and a texture BETTER, IMOH, than RTF. So I will have a lightweight, ultra reliable .45 that fits my hand perfectly for about $600 all told.http://coldborecustom.com
