Glock Vs Kimber/miss my glock
I sold my glock 19 and another weapon just to get a kimber pro carry .45.
Now i feel i might have been hasty. I don't like to dirty the kimber, worry about scratches and dings and it's a pain to clean! I am thinking of getting a glock back, either a 19 or a 23. Any help on this dilema? I know it's a personal thing and what the person is comfortable with. I like to shoot, carry everyday and just feel more protected if you will with my old glock and accuracy dirty or clean.

Fell for the golden hammer trick, did you? Neat, pretty, afraid to use it? Don't worry, they make new Glocks every day. There's one out there with your name on it.

Been there, done that. Carry a Glock 23 now. I consider that my "stupid tax".

I pretty much did the same thing with my glock 27 and then had to buy it back for more than I sold it for and I consider that my stupid tax also

Best of luck to you getting back into your Glock. That's all I'll say at this point. Sorry for your loss.

I had to sell my 17 and 26 in rough times and regret it. I know how you feel. Luckily I kept my 19 and I have aquired other Glocks over the years. One day I will have a 17 and 26 again. Get another 19 and you will feel much better.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
Still can't believe what happened on 11/06/12! Disgusted and disappointed!

Kimbers and Colts are what you show your Friends. Glocks are what you show your enemies. I love my Twin G-19's, my G35 and my G21 with an XL serial number!

No harm, no foul.... glocks are a dime a dozen and their cheap. I carry a glock30 in the rotation but, I won't be sellin' any of the 1911's anytime soon
.
Keep the Kimber, buy another glock and treat it like the reliable hooker she is.
Shoot the hell out that Kimber, it's NOT the crown jewell of handguns.... just another tool. NO Remorse, you've got a fine handgun.

The 23 is real hard to beat, and you can get a .357 Sig barrel for it...

I have two Kimbers...very nice 1911's, but Glock is now my EDC.

Glock G36 is my EDC. 7 instead of 9 rds of .45 ACP but LOTS lighter and more concealable.

Everything would go before my G19 does, including my Kimber. Sounds like it's time to go shopping again.
