Pistol Engraving

Looking to get my initials and a set of Army Jmp Wings engraved on my pistols. Nothing fancy..just neat clear work. Have 2 Colt 1911's and 2 Glocks(19&26). I think the slide is the place(plus it's easier to drop off or ship)to do it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Look at Michael Gouse. He does exceptional work.

He did a full cover job on my Seecamp 380 at a very reasonble price and quick turn-around.

Check OMB Guns out of Kansas. I've seen some of their work first hand (on a Glock of course). State of the art technology from what I asked the rep at our Armorer's course earlier this year. I figure they'll do just about anything.......so I figure it doesn't need to be a Glock.

By the way....OMB does have 3 or 4 area reps.....one may be closer to you than Kansas. The engraving I saw on the Glock pistols they brought was very nice!

Sevierville Tn may not be in the neighborhood but I just got a revolver for my grandson that Tony Barnett engraved. He is at barnettsignaturecalls@yahoo.com. I think it is almost too pretty to shoot but we probably will anyway. He did an excellent job on it. PM me your email & I'll send pictures.

Here is an idea for you. Engrave a 1911 on your Glock's, they will look better!

For just Initials & Jump Wings - Go with Laser Engraving rather than hand engraving.

If I were to have any of my Colt 1911s, I would send them back to Colt's Custom Shop. Colt's Manufacturing Company LLC > Customer Services > Colt Custom > Design Your Own

But for no more than you are planning to have done, I'd agree with QK.

Laser engraving is okay but doesn't match the looks and quality of hand/tool engraving. It's going to depend on how much you wish to invest in the work.

Cost for all 3 guns was less than $40 ea. with a turn around of less than 10 days. Since i provided them with my own workable artwork via e-mail, there was no set up fee. They use computer driven, diamond bit engraving machines, which makes their detail umbelievable. They are also, a vet and LE friendly company.
