My first CZ 9mm "Potato Chip".

I bought this CZ 75D Compact PCR. today, (used, in a FTF deal). Saw it listed on another forum that I often visit. Here are some of the details from the sellers post:

Decocker model, no external safety. This gun has been very well taken care of. Purchased it new in Oct of 2009.

Gun has approx 1600 rounds through it. I shot it in IDPA and it was my primary
    carry weapon.

It has a Steve Bedair stainless steel guide rod and a wolff 13# recoil spring installed.
    Comes with 6 magazines: 4 - 14 rounders and 2 - 16 rounders, case, book and box.

Ever since I saw someone else's post about CZ's being like potato chips, plus others comments about their fit and finish it sparked my interest in them. Started some research and was amazed at all the good comments that I found about them. Bought it for only $400

Can't wait to get it out on the range and try it out. Thanks to all you CZ owners out there for your "assistance" in my purchase.

I've looked at plenty of CZ pistols in the past. My personal opinion of them? Worth a look for sure. To each their own. I have little experience with them, but nothing bad to say about them. Like I say, I could have very easily owned one in the past.....the past just didn't seem to take me to that place. Don't ever question your choice of pistols based upon others' ideals. Always make the most of what you have.

    You're going to love it.

Right now, the "compact" CZ's are seriously discounted on the open market. For whatever reason, tons are being sold but there aren't many takers. Prices have plummeted in the past 2yrs. IMO, these are the most underrated pistols made. Highly reliable, exceptional ergonomics, easy strip/reassembly, easy to use. Not among the slimmest guns made, but they are bombproof and go "bang" when you want them to.

Congrats on your new (to you) pistola! Looks very clean, and for a great price.

Oh NO! You'll hate it! I am so sad to see that you paid so much for this! In fact, I feel bad enough to offer to buy it from you for what you paid just so my conscience can be at peace. I'd hate for a fellow shooter to have to suffer the CZ Potato Chip Disease.

I own or have owned as many a seven CZ's at one time. They are simply outstanding handguns. The CZ75 has possibly the best ergonomics of any handgun this side of the Hi Power.

Nice purchase and a great price.

If your interested in wood grips check out this guy. Prices and quality are good. I've never had any complaints with in my dealings with him.

I also prefer the rubber covered magazine base pads. They are available from CZ. The metal ones can cut a shirt up as well as a car seat if your not careful.
