I have been weighing my options all morning looking for pro's and con's I may have missed.

Go with the 19, It is easily concealable, high cap 15 round magazines, it's 9mm so cheaper practice, fits perfectly in the hand, and is the epitome of Glock perfection. You won't regret getting a G19.

G26 - great for summer carry or when other clothing restrictions make it hard to carry
G19 - great all around carry gun
    G17 - greatest 9mm ever made

I agree with the G19. Small enough to conceal easily, large enough to hold onto.

Can't argue with any of the responses so far. My EDC is a GLOCK 19, although the 26 is tempting me...can't go wrong with either one. 9x19 is a great all around cartridge.

That depends on how much ammo you can afford to burn

Good point. I figure with the Glock in 9mm I can keep a couple of 30 rounders in the vehicle and a couple around the house and that way I always have lots of ammo around for my EDC wepon.

Get the 19 now, and the 26 later! (That's what I did.)

Agree with that. I will add that you can later buy a 26. Your 19 mags will work with the 26 as well, more rounds. Good luck!

The 19 is a good balance of being a good size for a fighting weapon yet small enough to conceal well. Actually, a 26 could fit that role but the 19 is a little easier to manipulate. If you are going to get only one I would make it the 19. Otherwise the 17 and 26 compliment each other nicely. Actually, if you want the hat trick, all three are nice.

I've got a 19 & 17 currently. I've owned a couple 26s in the past. The 17 is more comfortable in my hands, has slightly less perceived recoil but I still don't shoot it any better than the 19 and the 19 conceals easier for me. If I could only have one pistol, no question, it would be a G19. I hope you saved some of those 124 GDs!
