Got the "Green Light" from the wife

Have a few hundred bucks coming from an insurance co-pay overpayment suit on the way. My wife said that's my revolver money.........so that DAO SP101 357 is getting closer to reality. Been out of the "wheelgun world" for a long time. So guys and gals get me pumped with some SP101 pics and descripts!

I wish I had a wife like that.
A CCW is like a parachute; if you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

it's not DAO, but it is a 3 inch SP101 (and it's mine)

I've been handling revolvers of some kind or another for 40 years, and this one (just bought it a couple of weeks ago) is the first one that actually fits my funky shaped paws. Excellent shooter, and easy to disassemble for detail cleaning. This is not my first Ruger in .357, but is the first that actually fits, and points naturally. I'm stoked, and have no doubt that you will too, old grunt!

Great gun, it's what I just bought a few months ago and I love the weapon. I put a Trijicon front sight on mine.

To the OP...this is what you should get.

    Almost the perfect revolver!

yep.... I have the love bug so bad for this gun, I'm seriously considering the Trij front sight myself. Also read that Mepro has a sight to fit as well. With my vision problems, I need all the help I can get.

    I'm jealous sir! I've been wanting a SP101 or GP100!

Btw, pretty sure "green light" is a term used by criminals that means they want you dead. Just be sure your wife isn't trying to put a hit out on you!

You know somewhere down the line she's going to want something and you won't be able to say no.

Lets all hope that what she wants is muturally benificial. Remeber if you give a kiss you get a kiss, works that same with the other stuff too.

Are you going to go with the 2" or the 3" version?
