Help Kel-Tec P-11 field strip
I field striped my sons P-11 and after removing the pin I allowed the slide to go forward the pistol jammed and I can not move any of the parts. Not the slide or barrel. They are locked together. Has anyone had this experience? I do not want to use too much force, especially if there is a way to break loose the bind without hurting the slide or barrel.

I don't own one but if I remember correctly you have to jerk the slide to the REAR and ride it forward after removing the pin, did you try moving it backwards first?

Pull the slide back as LoadedPipes said. You have to push down and back on the barrel while the slide is locked back after you remove the assembly pin.

Thanks for the replies, I did not pull the slide further back but pulled enough to release the slide lock. I looked at the manual and got some excellent pointers on the disassembly instructions. I plan to hit the locked up area with breakfree and apply light pressure on the barrel while I try to pull back the slide.

Make sure the magazine is removed, they tend to keep slides from going forward, don't ask how I know

Thanks Duke the magazine was out of the pistol before I removed the retention pin and let the slide move forward. I am not sure but the barrel may have moved back as I let the slide forward, anyway it is really stuck!
Thanks for the reply,

Okay, a little Breakfree and a very light tap on the end of the barrel with the plastic end of a gun smith hammer and it is apart. Clean and I am reassembling. Thanks everyone. Nice little pistol!
