If anyone has a Kahr CW or P model and has considered converting it to a "Covert" here's my finished product. I loved my CW40 but absolutely despised the magazine hanging out of the bottom an additional 1/2". I tried the PM40 but found the muzzle flip to be a bit much for target reacquisition. I decided to take my CW40 and make a hybrid of the two. The gun now has a PM40 sized grip to it and can use the flush fitting PM40 mags or the standard CW40 mags. I find the gun to be reliable and accurate with Hornady 155gr XTP loads. I had a PM40 before and it really danced around in my hand. The CW covert doesn't have anywhere near the muzzle flip the PM40 had and stays put nicely. Anyway, here's a few pics I took out on the deck. I am liking this as a carry piece.
