    Good price on Glock?

I have an opportunity to purchase a Glock 23 with only 200 rds through it, with 4 hi-cap mags, and trijicon night sights. for $550.00. I have striped and inspected the weapon and it is flawless. What do you guys think? Decent price? I already have a Glock 27, and I want a full size, but can't quite decide if this is a good enough value to compromise or not.

Sounds like a good deal to me, a Glock 23 with 2 mags usually goes for $450-500 and that's with standard sights.

IMO I think that is a bit high for a used gun. In most places Ive seen the new Glocks being sold at $499 and most gun shops will install the night sights for you for free if you buy them which usually run between $60 - $100 depending on the brand. I saw a really good Glock 17 with night sights on it barely used being sold at a local guy shop for $419. From what I've seen, Glocks do hold their value pretty well so I might be a little off on this but I do think it's a little high. If you are thinking about getting a G23, I would possibly shop around and get a new one if for no other reason than the piece of mind knowing that you know the complete history of that firearm.

You have to factor in the 2 extra mags as well, those are 30 bucks each, and 200 rounds through a glock barely classifies it as a used handgun. And those trijicon night sights are usually $100 bucks, so 500 bucks for a new glock plus 100 for the nights sights and 60 for two extra mags you are at $660. $550 seems pretty good for a Glock with 200 rounds through it with the extra mags and sights.

Agree. With the extra mags and nighters, $550 is a fair price--no steal, but fair.

I guess I retract my last statement. I was thinking about what I get Glocks for using their military sales program.

If you like the gun as it is, I think it's a decent deal. It's not a steal, but it's a decent deal.

Prices fluctuate around the country a bit. That may be a great price in some locales, fair in others.

Not a great deal , but ok. I bought mine 2 years ago with the GSSF member discount for $503 out the door, then add the $35 membership fee to that ( $538 ) and it came with 3 mags. They changed the discount program some in April, so you want get as much of a discount as before.
