    Worst carry gun EVER!

Yeah, I know this thread has been around but it's been awhile (I think). This also helps me in helping others as well as myself on future purchases. I'd like to limit it to carry firearms.

Are you asking what guns we have carried that ended up being bad? I'm also confused.

Whoops, sorry. Yeah, I.e. what's a carry gun you once had that you'd never carry again. I had a US made Walther PPK that was a jamb-king. I'm talking every third round.

Sniper rifle would make the worst carry gun..

Pistol wise I would say those phoenix arms 25 autos. If you shoot me with one of them I am gonna beat on ya.

This one just prints too much. It's hard to conceal wearing just a t-shirt.

It might have been a good idea back when we were all riding horses to and fro,but with todays wardrobes it just doesn't seem as practical.

I don't know how (or why) you can say that about the Walther, because as retsupt99 said, the Walther is my treasure. See my siggy; that's my first carry gun and I still carry it to this day.
A CCW is like a parachute; if you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

I used to carry a Ruger Super-Blackhawk. Silly? You bet, but I was in bear country, and when I went to town it was just as easy to leave it under my jacket. The crux is that I once gave in to the delusion that bird shot might be good in it as an SD round.

I was famous for shooting upland game birds in the head with that pistol, and shot at one from about 15' soon after I got my shot rounds, and it flew off. Hmm. Back at the shack I drug a milk jug out from under the porch with my foot and shot it, and my foot. Yeh, the pattern was that wide! I don't know which was luckier, that it didn't go through my boot, or that I didn't need to fire in self-defense!

    Back to .44 specials.

OK, one of my shooting pals has a Bond .45 ACP two-shot stainless---when he first got it, the trigger went at like 35+ (!) lbs and would fail to fire about three out of every ten rounds---called Bond and they agreed to send new trigger parts to a gunsmith to be installed---brought trigger down to about 18 lbs---still misfires every so often. I told him this was basically a "face-gun"---that is VERY close range problem solving---he insisted wasting two 50 rd. boxes of WWB .45 trying to hit a target 7 yards away---the very few bullets that even hit the target were all over the place---could have something to do with the 18+ lb trigger. Anyway, gun is going up for sale---he wants a Glock 36 to go with his Glock 21. I say good idea!

Exactly. And, if you notice, the price is reflected that way.
