    Night sights for the Glock

So Mrs W just got her new 26. It has fresh new Glock Night Sights. Mine are 10 years old on my G23. I want new ones....Should I go with stock three dots like Mepro or Trijicon? I want steel and tritium, not fiber optic or hybrids. I have also looked at Warren Tactical and Heine. Suggestions are welcome.

I have xs big dots on my G19 and like them a lot. They are bright and fast, but not everyone likes them. They do require some range time to get used to them.

I have Trijicons on my Glock 23 and Ameriglows on my M&P9C....The Trijicons are green rear and green front. The ameriglo (which I prefer, they are brighter) are yellow rear and green front.

I bought the ameriglo's for $75 online and installed them myself. A minute adjustment to the rear and I was dead on with them. The Trijicons were placed on my 23 by a glock Armorer and need to have the rear tapped a bit to the left (will be done this weekend).

I reallly like the two dot series Warren Tactials. Just to try them, I have recently purchased the three dot Warren Tacticals (just arrived today) so I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet.

I have the Heine Straight 8s on one of my 1911s and until I got the Warren Tacticals, they were my favorite sights. Now the Warren Tacticals win hands down over all the multitude of other sights that I have tried.

    Good luck, Later, Lumpy.

The Mepros are my go-to- night sites for the Glocks anymore. To each their own, and I do have the Trijicons on a couple. The Mepros seem better to me, and less cost. The Glock factory NS are very nice as well.

I use Trijicon and Mepro. Both are very good.

All my Glocks have Meprolight night sights. Better and less expensive than Trijicon IMO.

    +1

Not necessarily that all my glocks wear them, but they are cheaper, and as good if not better than Triji's.

XS Big Dots would be my recommendation. No problem passing LEO qualifications (242/250 was my score w/ XD45C). They are just as accurate as Glock standard sights, but faster to pickup on.

I have to agree with this also. If you want to go with the 3 dot systems, they are brighter.

I was planning on taking our new G19 to my LGS today and getting trijicons put on it, but I like the meprolights that are on my Kahr PM9 so much, that I think I'd rather have those on there. Problem is, LGS doesn't have or carry them.

Anyone know where the best place is to get meprolights for a G19?

    Cool

I use XS Big Dots on my G-23 and like them because I am getting older and my old eyes need all the help they can get seeing that front sight. Just dot the I and I'm good to go.

Well, I just ordered a set of Meprolight Tru Dots (same as what is on my Kahr PM9) from Optics Planet $77. Can't wait to get them on the G19.
