Well, as some of you I'm sure read, a month or two ago I had issues with my M&P9c releasing mags from the recoil. I called S&W customer service and they sent me a shipping label and told me they would take care of it.
Sure enough, once I finally got around to sending the gun in, it was only gone a total of 10 days, door to door, including weekends. They covered ALL costs and, 100 rounds later, I feel safe to say they fixed the issue.

What did they find wrong???
We have 3 S&W M&P's in the family and they all function flawlessly.
They replaced the magazine extractor.
This is the only issue I've had with the gun. Took it to the range today and was once again surprised at the accuracy it has for a 3.5" barrel.

You cant beat their customer service.
Some of the early M&P's had soft magazine catches, and they eventually rounded off enough to eject under recoil.
I had the issue with my 9c and S&W mailed me out a couple replacements.

Good for S&W for supporting their customers.
I have three of them and they are all flawless, it's good to know that if there ever were an issue that S&W would take care of me.
I installed a stronger spring in mine, it just felt a little to easy to release. Nice and stiff now!:wink:
The release feels noticeably more secure since the repair. It's a little bit harder to push down and not as susceptible to releases on a "bumb," from recoil or a thumb/finger.Quote:
