I've been waffling on one of these for a while now. I've handled the P11 in the store, trigger doesn't bother me, and the gun feels good in my hand.
Now I know Kel Tec has stellar customer service. What I'm curious about is how many P11 owners had to utilize it.
I,m very interested in seeing how this poll turns out because I would like to have a P11 as well.
Right now, mine was the only vote...the long line looks impressive.:rolleyes:
That said, my P-11 was a well-made, no problem firearm, but the looooooooong trigger pull was not something that I enjoyed. I imagine that one could get used to it, but I traded it off after a while.
I guess we all have different tastes. In all fairness, it was what I would call a dependable firearm...it was just the trigger.:hand1:OMO
Although I don't own mine any longer, I loved my P11. One of my worst trades was when I traded it. I am now looking for either the PF9 or P11. Yes the trigger was a bit long, but I think added to safety. I never had an issue with mine, carried it daily everywhere.
My P11 was my second carry gun. Perfect size carry gun and takes S&W 9mm mags from 59xx or 69xx series guns.
147 grain rounds did not hit to point of aim but 115 and 124 grain rounds do. With the new 12 round mags you can have a good higher cap pistol for your carry needs.
I responded wrong,my P11 was second hand off gunbroker,when I received it there was a problem when after 1 or 2 rounds It felt like the transfer bar from trigger to the firing pin actuator would slip and miss the connector resulting in no bang bang.Sent back to keltec and IIRC was back within a week to 2 weeks tops,haven't had any trouble since

I bought my P-11 when they first came out years ago. Lost count of how many rounds I have put through it. It has been very reliable since day one. I agree with everyone else about the trigger. But for an inexpensive (not cheap) 9mm pistol it does what it was designed to do, with a lifetime guarantee to boot. In my opinion you can't go wrong with the P-11
Had mine for a year now. Somewhat picky with certain ammo. Once I got that figured out, I have had no problems. Alternate carrying with my Taurus PT745 which I also love.

Ejector broke on mine as well after about 500 rounds. Called KT and they sent me a replacement part that arrived within a week or so. Was able to swap out the part myself.
I love my P-11! Ive got almost 500 rounds thru it without a hiccup! had it duracoated and carry it ALMOST daily.
I bought mine back when they first came out. I read a magazine article where the author ordered two guns for testing, and he ended up with a lemmon, but after it came back "repaired" for testing, he gave great reviews of the gun despite the "lemmon" he received.
Not long after, a local fun shop had one in, "two tone"! I loved it, and bought it. After the first magazine it jammed. The gun store had to send it back for me, and a couple of weeks later I got a gun that up to this day I still carry often. Over a decade of reliability.
I voted "Out of the box, cleaned and lubed, no problems".
If your question had been about the PF9 my answer would have been very different.
Within 100 rounds, I had about 2 FTE and that was it. The rest of the rounds are trouble free
