Pics of my two recent purchases

Here are some pics of the two new additions from last week. Would have gotten them sooner, but I broke a grip screw bushing on the Kimber and just got it back today.

    The new ones are:
Kimber Compact Stainless Series I w/ CT Laser Grips
    S&W 638

The Colt New Agent is about 6 months old and normally wears the laser grips, but the Kimber is currently waiting on a new set of grips because I hated the ones it came with.

Nice pics, I had the same J-Frame. How do you like the grips on the laser Kimber and if you dont mind me asking where did you order grips from? I have a Pro Carry II that I am thinking of adding new grips to soon.

That's all great stuff right there!!!!!! The 1911s make great IWB carry pieces and the Smith j-frame makes a nice weak side pocket carry companion. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I really like the laser grips, but I shoot better with the XS Big Dot Sights actually. On the Colt however, I shoot much better with the laser. My biggest complaint about IWB carry is the itching caused by the gun's grips. I find that rubber grips are the worst. The laser grips are hard plastic, so I have no itching at all, and the wood grips on the Colt are good too. I'm pretty sure I ordered the laser grips off Ebay, but it's been a long time. I paid right around $240 for them.
