Nice pickup, I have one of the RIA tactical compacts with over 800+ rounds through it no problems I carry it over my higher end 1911s.

I think you made a good choice, as far as lower priced 1911s are concerned the RIAs have a good reputation and the RIA tactical has some pretty good features.
