one it seems to be in great shape,it's a Y1 grade and it was made in 2007. I know that beretta is not making them any more. Any info will be appreciated.

I know the 8000 is highly renowned. Don't have any experience with either tho.

What kind of information are you looking for? You already have it...
I have a Stoeger Cougar 8040 DA/SA. I like it, but compared to the M&P 40 I just purchased, it now feels "clunky". I think it's a great gun for the price I paid new, but am looking to trade it in on an M&P compact. I'll probably regret it, but I don't see the need for two large 40 cal handguns. Of course, I might keep it too, lol.
