    My first S&W

Well I guess you don't go walking into a gunshop with the cash unless you plan on spending it
I just picked this baby up and put about half a box through it. Sweet. This gun just fits me. I was looking and dry firing and looking... I kept coming back to it. The trigger pull is amazing for a DA and the ergonomics, especially when I put the small grip insert in, was just as amazing. I already called the gunshop back and asked him to look for a C model in .40 S&W. They didn't have any in stock. I'm a happy camper. I'll be trading my Cougar in on the C. I really should have given these Smiths a look at a month ago... Thanks for all the positive feedback when I asked what y'all thought of Smith & Wessons nowadays.

Thanks. Now the holster hunt is on. It fits just fine in my Jak Slide, but something better is needed.

Must be something in the air ? Picked up a M&Pc last week, I was looking at a G36,XD 40 and a Walther 9mm but like you kept coming back to the M&P. I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out to the range, at twentyfive yards it grouped well and had minimal muzzle flip for a compact 40. I was tempted to trade my G27 but couldn't let the old friend go. Good luck with the new hardware.

    Thanks everyone.
Yes, that trigger pull is something else. Almost seems like the gun should have a safety. It probably squeezes off with less lbs than my old Combat Commander did. Of course you have to actually move the trigger, but not much it seems.
I'm hoping he can hunt me up that 40c. Thanks for the report on yours rson63. I just can't see going with a 9mm when the sizes are so close and there's only a couple rounds difference (going from memory).
