    Para 1911 9mm Hi-Cap

Is anyone familiar with Para's Hi Cap 9mm, 18+1, looking for reliability concerns and thickness of the grip issues for the double stack.

Mmmkay.... So, what's wrong with a Browning Hi-Power instead?

I mean, it just seems like a tortuous way to get a BHP by kluge-ing an M1911.

Yep, you can't hardly get parts for them. I have to agree with the above statement, just go get a BHP and you'll have a much nicer gun with alot less headache.

I owned a Para single stack 45. It was very accurate but it never did feed properly... it went back to Para and then still did not function. So when I wanted high cap 9mm I went with a CZ.

I've owned two para's......biggest pieces of junk...neither would function reliably....sent them back on several occasions to para-they could never get them fixed....I would never own another....btw, each trip to para was at my expense-they would not pay return shipping
