Talking Fantastic Customer Service from the XD people and a THANKYOU

We just got an XD9 and wowee it is a nice gun. (we meaning he)

THANKS to the poster who mentioned the Gear Up thing from Springfield recently. We (he) are (is) getting three new magazines plus another double mag holder for free!

The best part is the customer service - he called the XD people to ask about a left hand holster (a right handed one comes with the original gun set). They are going to send him a lefty just for the trouble of his call.

I can see how the XD people rave about this gun.

    Just thought I'd share.

I've had my XD40sc for a little while now and it's hard to beat. Great weapon. Haven't need CS yet, although I'd like to have several more of the short mags. Might just have to give 'em a ring.

I don't know if it reads like it, but I did shoot it for the first time and it was very accurate. I really liked the trigger, not too short not too long. Perfect really.

    And talk about capacity.

That deal is on thru Dec 31 for anybody that bought one, or is thinking about it.

My XD40sc shoots with the accuracy of a large gun. Shocking accuracy for such a short barrel. I'm assuming yours isn't a sub compact...I can only imagine how well the larger ones shoot.

My XD45c has yet to let me down. There's a bit of a magazine issue, but I hear Springfield CS is taking care of that. I just have to get around to calling them.

    Updates:
We just realized that the magazine holder that came with the gun HAS A PICATINNY RAIL on it so you can snap on your TLR light right to it

One down side is that the mags are all shiny light metal. Not exactly low profile when you are trying to cc. (the spare magazines). I like to go all black with guns and holsters as they blend into clothing better. (but hey, it's his gun so not my worry but his are ours and mine are mine if you know what I mean )

I looked on the xd site, there are probably other people doing black mags for them??

Yes Bugdude, it's a compact size. I was really impressed with it. We can have some fun at the range with Glock vs XD competetions, he is going to give me a run for my money with this firearm.

I love my XDs. I've had an XD 45 for the past 3 years, which I carry frequently. My wife gave me an XDm 9 for Christmas last year, and I also love it. That 19 + 1 capacity is incredible!

I have two XD pistols. An XD9 service model and the XD9sc. Many thousands of rounds through both pistols. I was stunned when I bought the XD9sc and discovered I shot it as well or better than its big brother! They shoot everything you give them. Enjoy your XD.
