Taurus TCP .380acp Review/Range report
I chose the Taurus for a few reasons.
Comes with two mags.
Slide locks back when empty.
Second best trigger (IMO) Best was the Kahr.
Stainless slide for the same price others offer ther blued slide for.
Fit and finish was right there with the Kahr and Ruger, much better than the KelTec.
The only thing I dont like about it is the two click trigger reset.
When you rack the slide the hammer goes into a half cocked position. When you fire the pistol and release the trigger there are two clicks. The trigger IS NOT RESET AT THE FIRST CLICK. If you pull the trigger after only one click it will drop the hammer from the half cocked position, usually resulting in a light primer strike. Even the owners manual states doing this may or may not fire a round.
This is why so many people are complaining of light primer strikes.
OK, range report.
I am happy to say the pistol ran flawlessly. And was reasonably accurate for such a small gun. Slide locked back after last round, every time.
Ammo Used:
PMC 90grn FMJ
WWB 95grn FMJ
Federal American Eagle95grn FMJ
Kyp4 (Russian) 92grn FMJ
I even mixed mags with at least one of each round and had no problems.
on a side note, judging from the recoil and sound, the American Eagle are much hotter than the other three

Was that a 200 round range session with no issues? 50 of each brand? I'm considering a TCP, but I'd like to know about longterm durability (round count wise). I put alot of rounds through my guns for practice. Too early to tell still I guess.

Actually It was the first 100 rounds ,25 of each brand. Will probably make a video of my next range session to post. Im sure its as durable as the other polymer pocket guns.

That'd be a video I'd be interested in seeing. From what I've found out about the TCP thus far, it sounds like you made a wise purchase.
