I'm hoping that someone can talk me out of another impulse purchase. I know I don't need any more guns, but a local CT gun store is blowing out their .40S&W 5" for $329 and the 4" for $299. On top of that, Springfield still has their promotion for 3 free magazines. Wow!
I already have Glock, Kahr, S&W, Ruger and a Seecamp. I have shot the XD 9mm and .45, but I still prefer my Glock 19... but the price.

I'm not going to lie. I was secretly hoping that there was a massive recall on XD's... even though I know how reliable they are. I have a feeling that I'm not going to be be able to pass this deal up. Maybe I'll be lucky and they'll be all sold out.

I'm not a fan of the XD and I'm not a fan of .40 but even I couldn't pass that deal up...

I have a XDM 9mm 3.8 and love it. Great shooting weapon.

If they did that here, right now, I would be the proud owner of a 4" xD. Everyone's right, I don't think anyone here is even capable of trying to talk you out of it.

It might be worth buying for the trade bait aspect alone.
I'd buy one, and try it out, if you don't like it, you will probably be able to make your money back when you sell it.

My husband just got one. I couldn't WAIT to shoot it, especially since I did not have to go through the "why I bought another gun" explainations myself.
It is a great shooter, very comfy and I can be pretty accurate with little effort. We also got the mag promotion deal. In fact they just came today! That's about a week from order to doorstep. Unbelievable!
There are so many stock holsters around for it too - a real plus.

Ive got the XD40sc and it's everything cammo girl said: great shooter, comfortable in hand, and effortless accuracy. Runs like a sewing machine. I'm wanting an XDm in .45 myself.

It is terrible at not being great.
I often give it a low ranking on the "how much does this gun suck?" chart.
I'm glad I cannot be tempted by those prices because I'd probably be coming home with 'another' gun if I walked into a LGS and saw those prices!!!
