    Boy OD*, was that catalog line-up of Colt products about to change for good. The post war catalog would be really trimmed in number of models offered.

    Let's see, I'll have a Shooting Master for $52.75, a Government Model for $44.75, a Super 38 for $44.75. and a Detective Special for $35.50. Oh, let's throw in a Banker's Special .22 for $36.75 and a Woodsman Match Target for $47.50. That'll do for starters.

    Regarding US Marine rollmarkings;
    Bill Laughridge

    There will also be 5 pistols made that will be marked MODEL 1911 USMC. There were never any 1911 pistols marked this way but I felt that there must be at least 5 Marines who would want one.
