    First Glock

Hmm, I'm thinking I want a Glock. I've been against it for the longest time, but I'd really like to get one now. I'm just not sure which one I want. Give me some suggestions. I currently have these handguns that I use often:

    Springfield XD-9
    Springfield XD-45
    Springfield XD-9SC
    RIA 1911 GI
    RIA 1911 Officer

I of course have many others, but these are the handguns that I carry/shoot most often. I don't want the Glock 19 since it's so similar to my XD-9, same goes for the 26 and the XD-9SC. I'm thinking the 30 might fit the bill since I don't own a compact 45ACP polymer pistol. I suppose I could also get a 23 or 29 to venture over to another caliber. I don't really *need* .40 or 10mm since I have 9mm and 45ACP, but I'm not against buying any caliber. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I like the Glock 30sf, but I own and carry the 23.

30SF is an awesome firearm. It is amazing how something that light handles recoil so well, and is also just as accurate as a full size 1911. Plus, you wont have to stock up on a new caliber.

I've always wanted a polymer compact 45, but the XD-45 Compact isn't compact enough for me. It's a bit taller and longer than the Glock 30. I've been wanting to try out a 10mm, but I'm not sure I want to stock another caliber, especially one that isn't cheap.

The 19 is a great all around intro and reason to stay with Glock. I EDC a G23 and love it, but the 19 is the best f all things considered IMO

    Cool

Unless you want a high capacity such as the G-30 I would suggest the G-36 . That is going to be my next Glock.

Get the g26. You can use the 19 or 17 mags. Best of all worlds.

The G-30 is a very good firearm, but be aware that it is like a 2x4 . Did you consider the G-36?

And G-30 accurate as a full size 1911? Perhaps if you are talking about a very low end 1911

G30. Nice size, can use the 13-rd G21 mags for higher capacity, overall size not much more than the G36. And you already have ammo for it.

If you want something in .45 ACP and easy to conceal then get the Glock 36F. If you want a full size or compact pistol, then get the Glock 19/23 or just go ahead and get the Glock 20 in 10mm caliber which is a beast.

I'm getting my first Glock (26) in February to use for CCW.

I love my g30sf, and yes it is very accurate. Shot the same pattern out of the box as I do with my XD45Tactical. And its really not much bigger than the 36. I couldn't see sacrificing 4 bullets for 0.14 inch of width.

Bam! This is all you need my man! My G30SF. Smooth as butter and at 5' 7", 150lbs I have no problem carrying and concealing it in a Glock Sport Combat holster daily. Go for it.
