I would carry concealed as usual unless I planned to drink alcohol without regard to blood level. In which case I would also need a driver (who would be carrying).
No drink for me I don't play poker for fun unless you count making money fun! and drinking and poker is just like drinking and guns its a real bad thing!
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women
All my friends know I carry, and most of them do too. But this situation won't come up for me because I don't play poker or drink alcohol. Now if there was a Bible study at a friends house, I'd be there and carrying too!

You have never lived until you have almost died. For those that have fought for it, life has a special flavor the protected will never know
It may be best to leave it in the car if there's going to be any drinking involved.
America: Your government is not ignoring you, it's insulting you.
The Bill of Rights: Void where prohibited by law.
For me it's 2 options. 1) don't drink, go ahead and carry 2) don't carry if drinking.
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.
Laws are restrictive but sometimes necessary to maintain a civil society. Rights are nonrestrictive but are always necessary to maintain a free society.
I would carry, concealed is concealed, what they don't know, won't hurt them.....
I carry where ever it is legal. If my friends wouldn't like it I don't go there. I'm not leaving myself unprotected for anyone.
I got to thinking it over and yes, Concealed is concealed unless your playing strip poker, then maybe you should leave it in the car!
Always carry. Never tell.

I always have respect for a friend's house/home. Once I've told, and been allowed, I ask no more on subsequent visits since they know. Poker game? Well....as long as you don't think anyone will be cheating (I have visions of the old west saloon poker games here).......then everything should be cool to leave your pistol locked up in the car. You'd never really need to shoot anyone at a friends house now would you? Will five cars out front of your friends house make it a target for a team of criminals intent on taking the winnings off the table? I doubt it. I know......I hate to be without mine any time. There are however those times when you can be without. My advice? Play it like you want to. Have no reservations in doing what you have to. A clear conscious is peace.
Stay armed...don't tell...stay safe!
