Going to a poker game tonight at a buddy's house. Can't decide weather I keep my EDCC on in the house or not?? do I leave it on and stay quiet or ask permission because I respect his house? Do I leave it in the car??

concealed is concealed.
only time I would even consider not carrying is if I knew the owner of the house would REALLY flip out about it (our best friends are this way) to the point it would jeopardize the friendship if they found out. That said, last time I carried anyway and instead it was my wife that flipped out about it. "What if she found out?" "How the F is she going to find out? What part of 'concealed' don't you understand?" Sigh...
Anyway you can rig up a shotgun under the table ahead of time?
Sorry, couldn't resist ;^)
In PA, do you have to ask the homeowner to carry in their residence? If not, I'd carry, no one else will know.
Just look at this thread from the other day. http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...hen-to-hold-em.
IMO............a prime time for a hold-up............Cash On Hand.
I'd carry and just keep it quiet, would also skip the booze.
Me, I would carry. But then I carry 24/7/365, why?
Because I haven't developed the ability to predict when I will and won't need one.
But I'm working on that.
And on a side note, a friend of mine (who carries 24/7/365) told me that he went to a poker game a couple of months ago. 5 guys playing poker, 4 out of the 5 carrying. The one that wasn't was an off-duty officer.
He asked my friend why was he carrying, and my friend told him, I always carry don't you?
Some get it, some don't.
Always carry, never tell.
Author: Thumper :yup:
Yes you should carry and not say a thing.
Thanks all! I am packing it. I think I would go through withdrawl without it anyway. I figure the only way he is finding out I have it is if I need it and in that case its all good.
What always surprises me is how many people apparently don't know their friends well enough beforehand to already know the answer. I can understand going to a stranger's home or a "friend of a friend" whom you haven't met.
