    Purchased a Glock 36 Today

I went with a friend to help him shop for a Kahr 9mm for his wife and I intended to get a Ruger LCP. Then I noticed the Glock 36 next to it and asked to hold it as well. Well..... I am a glock addict as I already have a Glock 21 and a Glock 30, so I ended up with the Glock 36 instead of the Ruger LCP.

I know the Ruger is supposed to be awesome (I already have its heavier sister the LCR and I love it), but the LCP felt unsubstantial in my hands. I am not Andre the Giant by any means, but the Glock just felt right.

Do I NEED a 21, 30 and 36? No...... but I feel fine with my decision.

It felt like slipping on a glove...... honestly, it was that nice.

I cannot WAIT until tomorrow and putting a couple hundred rounds through it on a nice sunny 65 degree day in Houston tomorrow at the outdoor range a mile from my house.

I've had my G-30SF for about a week now and haven't had the chance to get to the range to shoot it. I struggled with the choice between the G-36 and the G-30SF. My hands are short but wide and the G-30SF felt comfortable. And I like the idea of 10 rnd. as opposed to 6. However, Glocks do tend to breed and multiply. Now my G-26 has a new friend.

I have a G30, keep G21 mags in it at home, but at times wish I had the G36 for carry. It's not so much the size, but the lighter weight of less .45 ammo on the hip! I have no doubt you'll be pleased with your new purchase.

I'll give you two thumbs up for the Glock and wish you well with it. I've had the G21 and G30 myself, and held a few G36s at shows. Just never jumped. There's a reason for everything in this world. My best wishes for you and your new to you G36! Heck......it's Glock. What could be wrong with that? LOL!
