Yes, it's quite normal. The same companies that make the magazines for Colt, make them for just about everybody else too, regardless of whose name they stamp on the base plate.

I can't complete your screen name, so I guess you need to change it to C hawk Colt.

How's the new pony doing? I wasn't able to take my pony out of the Barn today, but Friday looks good for a few rounds downrange.

I hope you have the same experience that I have had. As I mentioned this Colt was flawless in the hundred rounds I put threw him. I am pleasantly surprised with how much I like this firearm. I still need more trigger time to really tell 100% though.

So how's that new Colt working out?

I'm done with my first 500 rounds, with fifty being Federal HST Hollowpoints. I'm about to embark on 200 rounds of Remington Golden Saber, as that will be my new carry load. If that works without a "bobble" I'm GTG. I finally cleaned my new gun after shooting three hundred rounds. I shot 150 and then 50, cleaned, 300 without cleaning. No bobbles or malfunctions noted. I did have one failure to lock the slide back after the last round, but attribute that to a known problem magazine.

Colt got this one right, if I do say so.
