The replacement 238HD is running like a top. I ran another hundred rounds down range today with both the mag from the first gun and the new mag at speed doing some movement drills and a little up close point shooting and the gun runs very well and is meeting my expectations.
I'm not calling it good yet as this only makes 199rds fired, all round nose FMJ more testing with JHPS will be in order prior to carry but as my stock of .380 JHPs was vastly depleted during testing of the first 238 and I need to order more. Figuring on ordering some Winchester PDX and SXT as well as maybe some Buffalo Bore.
Accuracy on this little gun is fantastic as well as is it's felt recoil, there isn't much. Working from 5, 7 and 10 yards I was getting nice groups in the down zero zone(s). The beefed up sights on this little gun are definitely appreciated. Provided I can keep a good amount of .380 on hand the 238 HD will be great for the occasional BUG match.
Once testing is complete and my IWB #4 comes in from Rhome the 238 will definitely be getting some carry time.
Sounds like things are finally getting figured out on your 238 situation, congrats. Now I want one, again.
