Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.

.40 is what my dept issues. If I had to pay my own way it would probably be 9mm. I carry 9, .40 and .45. Occassionally .38. But the majority of the time the .40 gets carried.

Always 9mm sometimes it's just accompanied by others.

Well, as a "serious" man I should carry .50 BMG. But that big vented comp-thingy that Barrett sticks on the end really prints! And "concealed is concealed." So for now it's 9mm or .45 ACP.

    Usually 357 Sig if I'm going full-sized, though sometimes a 45. If I'm traveling light a 9x19 or 38 in the pocket.

I alternate between my .40sc (20%) and 45C (80%). If the weather isn't very warm though, I will usually carry the .45. The .45 is what I qualify with. I don't like to carry any cartridge smaller than a .40 because of the 10 rd mag restriction of NY.

I love a .45acp and the 1911 platform, but I do tend to carry my Glock 23 a lot because of the lighter weight, higher capacity, and marginal ballistic difference. Both conceal just fine. I couldn't call one better than the other in that area.

    40S&W, 357Sig, 45acp, 357Mag, 38Spl, 380, leave off the 9mm and I could have chose an "all the above"

45 the majority of the time. 9mm some of the time when something smaller is needed.
