I think I've changed my CCW of choice...

Depending on the season and clothing, I've been going back and forth between a full-size 1911, a snub .357, and a Bersa Thunder .380. While I do fine with all 3 of these guns, the one handgun I seem to be the most consistent with is one I never carry, my Springfield XDm-9. I always felt that since it has a capacity of 19+1 it would just be too wide to carry easily...I was wrong. Today I decided to carry the XDm in a M-Tac, and it was a piece of cake! Very comfortable, and of course the M-Tac holds the weapon as close to the body as possible. I think this is going to be my new daily carry. Of course when summer hits here in Texas I may have to go back to the snub, but for now, and in the next few months I'm pretty sure I'll be carrying the XDm.

20 rounds of 9mm aint nothing to shake a stick at! And thats before you have to reload!

Change is generally for the better. The willingness to change may dwindle over time. The most important thing is to know where you want to be and get there no matter what it takes to do so. You have my best wishes in finding that place you need to be.

That's quite a variety of guns. Carry what you shoot best.

I think that it would be better to settle on a handgun that you would feel comfortable carrying all year long, and thus maintain consistency.

Regarding size, operation, features, and handling, I could hardly think of two handguns more different that the extra full size XDm-9, and a snubnose .357

Better to have options. I personally like revolvers, but sometimes find the g26 more practical for some days. Great to be blessed in a country that allows that.

I'm always rotating between a couple of guns for concealed carry as well. One day I carry my Taurus Mod 85 because I like the way it conceals in my pocket, 100% reliability and slimness of the grip. But then I get a hold of my Colt Defender wich I like the feel of too. Better balance, more capacity and quicker reloads. I'm also contemplating getting a Glock 36 to add to the mix. As mentioned it's nice to have options

Gun options are good...I have several, and I enjoy them all.
    Have fun with yours.
